1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Wantic, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Wantic.
2. The service
Wantic is an iOS app for monitoring website traffic. It can show unique visitor counts, traffic history, activity heatmaps, visitor countries, maps, notifications, and Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets. Features may change as the app is improved.
3. Your websites and authority
You may install Wantic’s tracking script only on a website you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Wantic and the tracking script follows the laws, contracts, notices, and consent requirements that apply to your website and visitors.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Wantic Pro is required to add and monitor websites. Weekly, monthly, and yearly options may be offered. Current prices and available terms are displayed in the app before purchase.
Payments are processed by Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple may charge your Apple Account within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account settings.
A yearly option may include a 3-day free trial for eligible users. Eligibility is determined at purchase. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid, automatically renewing subscription at the price shown by Apple. Unused portions of a trial may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased, where applicable.
Restore Purchases
Use “Restore Purchases” in Wantic to ask Apple to restore an eligible purchase associated with your Apple Account. Restoration depends on Apple’s records and the Apple Account currently signed in.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Wantic to break the law, monitor a site without permission, collect prohibited or sensitive data, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the service except where applicable law allows it, or use the service in a way that harms others or places an unreasonable load on the infrastructure.
6. Analytics accuracy
Analytics are estimates, not audited records. Counts can differ from other tools because of network conditions, blockers, privacy settings, script installation, time zones, retries, filtering, or how a unique visitor is calculated. Do not rely on Wantic as the sole basis for financial, legal, compliance, or business-critical decisions.
7. Widgets and notifications
iOS controls when widgets refresh and may delay updates to preserve battery life or system resources. Widget values can therefore be older than values inside Wantic. Delivery timing for notifications is also not guaranteed.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep Wantic available, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, infrastructure failures, third-party services, network problems, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Intellectual property
Wantic, its software, design, branding, and original content are owned by [LEGAL NAME] or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Wantic as intended. They do not transfer ownership.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Wantic is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, [LEGAL NAME] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from Wantic. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Termination
You may stop using Wantic at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, create risk for the service or others, or if the service is discontinued. Ending use does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it separately through your Apple Account settings.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Wantic, law, or our practices. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], without overriding consumer protections that apply to you under mandatory law.
