How do I add a website?
  1. Open Wantic and choose to add a website.
  2. Enter the domain you own or are authorized to manage.
  3. Add an optional display name.
  4. Save the website, then copy its tracking snippet.

Wantic Pro is required to add and monitor websites.

How do I install the tracking snippet?

Paste the snippet into the HTML of the website you own or are authorized to manage, following the location shown by Wantic. Include it on the pages you want to measure, publish the change, and visit the live site once to test it. If your site is generated by a framework or CMS, place the snippet in its shared site layout or approved custom-code area.

Why does traffic not appear immediately?

New visits may take a short time to be processed. Also check that the snippet is on the live site, the domain matches the website added in Wantic, your browser has not opted out, and a content blocker is not preventing the request. Cached pages may need to be republished or refreshed.

How are unique visitors calculated?

Wantic uses an anonymous random browser identifier to estimate unique visitors. It does not use a visitor’s name, email address, advertising identifier, or a browser fingerprint. A person using multiple browsers or devices may be counted more than once, while browser storage changes can also affect counts.

How do I add and customize widgets?

Add Wantic from the iOS Home Screen or Lock Screen widget gallery. Edit the widget to choose a website, widget type, and time period—today, week, month, or year. Available options can include the favicon, website name, trend background, and updated time.

Why does a widget refresh later than the app?

iOS decides when widgets refresh based on system conditions, battery use, and other factors. Open Wantic for the latest available value. A widget may remain behind the app until iOS grants another refresh.

How do I enable traffic notifications?

Choose a website’s notification settings in Wantic and select a daily, weekly, or monthly summary. If notifications do not arrive, confirm that Wantic is allowed to send notifications in iOS Settings and that the selected website is still active.

How do subscriptions and the free trial work?

Wantic Pro may be offered weekly, monthly, or yearly. Apple displays the current price before purchase. The yearly option may include a 3-day free trial for eligible users. Unless canceled before it ends, a trial becomes a paid, automatically renewing subscription.

How do I restore purchases?

Open Wantic’s subscription screen and choose “Restore Purchases.” Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Wantic asks Apple to verify eligible purchases; no new charge is made by the restore action.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Apple subscription settings, select Wantic, and choose the available management or cancellation option. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete a website and its analytics?

Open the website in Wantic, go to its settings, and choose the delete option. Confirming deletion requests removal of the website and its analytics data. This action cannot be undone. Remove the tracking snippet from the website if you no longer want it to send events.

Troubleshooting checklist

  • Confirm the website domain in Wantic exactly matches the live site.
  • Check that the tracking snippet is present on the published page.
  • Open the site without a content blocker and generate a new visit.
  • Make sure the browser has not set visitor_widget_opt_out to true.
  • Allow a short processing period, then reopen Wantic.
  • For widgets, open the app first and verify the website data there.
  • For subscriptions, use Restore Purchases while signed in to the correct Apple Account.
